Chaos/Order Drawings (2010)

These drawings investigate the relationship between chaos and order. Everything abides by the laws of physics, which allow for orderliness and simplicity, but woven within these laws is the ability to be completely unpredictable. With these drawings I used carefully chosen materials to signify order, and then introduced visual elements of chaos.

Materials include vellum, file folders, graph paper, muslin, thread, graphite, liquid paper, acrylic, wood glue, colored pencils, watercolor, graphite, monofilament, medical tape
